At Black and Davison, we never charge a fee for a consultation. Our attorneys will gladly set up an appointment to speak with you about your injury free of charge. If you cannot come to our office for any reason, we will come to your home or hospital to speak with you about your accident.
Scheduling an appointment with a personal injury attorney at Black and Davison is easy. Simply contact our offices at (717) 264-5194, and one of our highly experienced staff members will schedule an initial consultation. It is very important to bring any documents you may have regarding your accident with you at the initial consultation. At the initial consultation, it is very helpful for our attorneys to be able to review the Declarations Sheet for any applicable insurance policy, any accident report, and any medical bills or invoices for treatment, for example.
At your initial consultation, our attorneys will ask you detailed questions about your accident in order to fully investigate your claim and to inform you of your legal rights.
If you decide to hire Black and Davison as your attorneys, we charge a contingent fee for our services based upon a percentage of any money that is recovered for you. From the beginning of the representation, our firm will forward all costs associated with the representation. When we recover money for you through jury verdict or settlement, all expenses that we had expended in pursuit of your claim will be deducted from your recovery. Upon the conclusion of your claim, you will receive a detailed statement of all costs, expenses, and fees for our representation
Our clients greatly benefit from the contingent fee agreements because this arrangement allows clients who have become disabled or who cannot afford to investigate or litigate a claim to pursue their claim and receive compensation for their injuries. For instance, the cost of obtaining medical records alone can cost several hundred dollars. The contingent fee agreement allows any individual to afford high-quality legal representation without incurring the cost of a retainer or hourly legal bills.
At the initial consultation, we will explain our fee agreement to you in detail and fully answer any questions you may have. Our fees will be clearly set forth, in writing, before you are obligated in any way to our firm. |
