Labor Relations and Mediation

Black and Davison brings to difficult employment disputes a long and varied background in representing southcentral Pennsylvania clients subject to the many federal and state laws and regulations that govern the relationship between employer and employee in the Pennsylvania. Over the years, in addition to its representation of clients in the local and appellate court arena, the firm has represented clients before the United States Department of Labor, the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, and Bureau of Unemployment Compensation. In addition, the firm has successfully represented its employer/employee clients before a wide variety of labor arbitrators, fact-finders, and mediators. Jan G. Sulcove has earned the trust of his peers by serving for many years as an arbitrator or mediator in disputes which the parties believe can be more quickly and inexpensively resolved locally through the alternative dispute resolution process. In the labor arena as in every other field of its practice, Black and Davison is committed to achieving positive results at a reasonable cost.
